What made you decide to be part of the team?
Ong Jing Qin:
I have been in the young chef team for the past 10 years and also part of the team that took back the last 2 champion for this competition. Holding a special meaning to me, I decide to take up the manager role for the 1st time and would like to give back & impart knowledge & attitude to the next generation of young chefs
Joel Ow:
I was always an assistant to either the Young Chef Team/National Team, when the opportunity arose for me to be part of the main team, I took it
Sim Wei Hong:
I was assisting for the National Team and it made me want to experience competition as the main team to gain new experiences and broaden my horizons
Ng Shi Long:
To gain international competition experience and see new stuff
Kelvin Ng:
To gain experience in competition
What are you most looking forward to?

Bringing back the trophy for the 3rd time

Meeting new people and seeing what other countries’ chefs are doing
