Singapore Junior Culinary Team emerged Overall Champion and won Gold at the inaugural Alen Thong Golden Coffee Pot Challenge, beating 9 young chefs national teams. The team was required to prepare a cold buffet table for 40 people within a grueling 48 hour. On the competition day the team was given five hours to prepare a Main course using Chicken and a hot dessert for the restaurant service and to set up the cold buffet table. It was a challenging competition testing the team physically and mentally.
